Wedding Ceremonies

Big or small, barefoot or black tie—your wedding ceremony should be the highlight of the day. I'll work with you to create something authentic, heartfelt, and completely personal.

We'll start with a conversation about your vision, your story, and the elements you'd like to include. From there, I'll craft a ceremony that reflects your unique relationship and the commitment you're making to each other.

Note: In the UK, celebrant-led ceremonies don't currently include the legal aspects of marriage. Most couples choose to complete the legal formalities at a registry office beforehand, which can be done quickly and inexpensively. I'm happy to discuss how this works during our initial consultation.

Want to mark the moment with a meaningful toast or mini-ceremony? I offer fun, informal hosting to help you celebrate your 'yes!' in style.

An engagement party with a celebrant adds a special touch to the occasion, giving your friends and family the chance to witness and celebrate your commitment before the big day.

Your engagement celebration can include:

A short ceremony that tells the story of your relationship

Whether it's one year or 25, renewing your vows is a gorgeous way to celebrate your journey together. Let's craft a ceremony full of love, memories, and meaning.

From first meeting to your special day

Step 1

Initial Consultation

We'll meet for a relaxed chat (in person or via video call) to discuss your ideas, answer your questions, and see if we're a good fit. There's no obligation at this stage.

Step 2

Booking & Planning

If you decide to go ahead, I'll confirm your booking and send you a questionnaire to gather all the details I need.

Step 3

Crafting Your Ceremony

Based on our conversations and your questionnaire, I'll write a first draft of your ceremony and send it to you for review. We'll work together to refine it until it's perfect.

Step 4

Rehearsal (Optional)

For wedding ceremonies, we can arrange a rehearsal at your venue to walk through the logistics and make sure everyone feels comfortable with their role.

Step 5

Your Special Day

I'll arrive early to set up and coordinate with other vendors. Then, I'll deliver your ceremony with warmth, professionalism, and joy!

What's the difference between a celebrant and a registrar?

A registrar conducts legal marriage ceremonies on behalf of the government, following a standard format with limited personalization. As an independent celebrant, I can create a completely bespoke ceremony that reflects your personalities and includes any elements meaningful to you, without legal restrictions on content, location, or timing.

While a celebrant-led ceremony isn't legally binding in the UK, many couples choose to complete the legal paperwork at a registry office (which can be done quickly and inexpensively) and then have their "real" ceremony with me.

How far in advance should we book?

Popular summer dates get snapped up, so the sooner you get in touch the better. That said, it's always worth asking, even if your date is coming up soon!

Can we include religious or cultural elements in our ceremony?

Absolutely! As an independent celebrant, I can incorporate any religious, spiritual, or cultural elements that are meaningful to you. Whether it's a prayer, blessing, reading, or ritual from your faith or heritage, I'm happy to include it respectfully in your ceremony.
